우리나라 청정지역을 대표하고 문화를 사랑하는 하늘내린 인제군에 자리 잡은 내설악예술인촌내 공립인제내설악미술관 관장으로 취임하게 되어 기쁘게 생각합니다.

우리미술관은 문화예술에 관심이 많은 군민들과 함께 숨 쉴 수 있는 향유공간을 만들어 가고자 노력하며, 한국 미술계에 중추적인 역할을 하고 계시는 여러 이사님들을 모시고 문화예술발전에 이바지하게 되어 매우 영광스럽게 생각합니다.

인제내설악미술관은 현대미술을 중심으로 운영되는 공립미술관으로 한국을 대표하는 현대미술 작가들을 소개하고, 세계적인 작가들의 작품들을 선보임으로써 문화예술의 발자취를 쌓아 가도록 하겠습니다. 또한 지역작가들을 발굴하여 인제군의 문화예술 르네상스를 꽃피우고자합니다.

아울러 전문미술관 교육을 추진하여 소외된 지역 어린이들에게는 예술가로 성장할 수 있는 꿈과 희망이 되도록 하며, 인제군민들에게는 예술과 함께 공유하며 살아갈 수 있도록 여러 장르의 성인아카데미강좌를 진행하고자합니다.

인제내설악미술관은 미술이 중심이 되는 보다 풍요롭고 행복한 문화예술기관의 역할을 다할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠습니다.

First, I would like to be appointed as a director for Public Inje Naeseorak Art Museum in Naeseorak Art Village located in Inje-gun representing the clean region and loving the culture.

Our art museum is trying its best to create a space to be together with county people interested in culture and arts. We are also very proud of contributing to development of culture and arts with directors playing pivotal role in Korean art field.

Public Inje Naeseorak Art Museum is a public art museum that focuses on contemporary art. The art museum will build up traces of culture and arts by introducing contemporary artists representing Korea and presenting works of global artists. Furthermore, Public Inje Naeseorak Art Museum seeks to blossom the renaissance of culture and arts in Inje-gun by discovering local artists.

In addition, Public Inje Naeseorak Art Museum plans to promote art museum education to help isolated local children to dream and hope of growing into artists. For Inje-gun residents, Public Inje Naeseorak Art Museum seeks to provide academy programs in various genres to make them share the arts.

Public Inje Naeseorak Art Museum will try its best until it fulfills the role as an affluent and happy cultural and art organization centering on art.
